Job Profile: Trainee Engineer

Eligibility: BE/B-Tech (CS,IT,ECE)

Interview Date:19th September 2010

Interview Time:10.00 AM to 2.00 PM and 3.00 PM to 6.00 PM

Job Details:

The selected candidates shall be governed by following company policies and terms & conditions:-

      
1. The following will be the designations that will be offered.

2. First six months – Trainee Engineer.

3. Probation Period – Six months Application Support Engineer (Under Probation).

4. On Successful completion of Training and Probation Period – Application Support Engineer.

5. Initially the selected candidate will be allocated with relevant projects specially customer facing activities like support, training or development or any other related areas to be developed as a customer friendly associate.

6. On completion of 2 years after the training period and Probation, based on the skill sets, aptitude and availability of projects, employees can be moved to skilled activities like software development/R&D/Architecture.

7. Company shall provide six months extensive training on various skills and on completion of probation, based on the skill sets acquired, projects will be allocated. Initial project allocation period will be for a period of 24 months and subsequently the project period will be between 6-12 months. Commitment for the completion of the allocated project is mandatory.

8. During training period, trainees can reimburse expenses up to Rupees 3000/- per month to meet their expenses. Trainees can avail the boarding and lodging facilities at Bengaluru (Hostel Accommodation, with free breakfast, lunch & dinner) at a nominal charge of Rupees 300/- per month currently, which is used for maintenance of the facilities and to take care of breakages.


9. After training, there shall be probation period of six months. During this period, company provides fixed salary of Rs.5,000/- PM. In onsite projects applicable perdiam will be paid. The perdiam applicable currently are:

a. Within Bangalore Rs.3,000/- PM or Prorata
b. Outside Bangalore Rs.6,000/- PM or Prorata
c. For overseas projects if perdiam is paid by the client the entire amount minus the over head expenses will be paid by the company which is the case in general. In case the client does not pay perdiam separately adequate perdiam will be paid based on country/Project/ or as per existing company policies

10.In all cases while on project/ deputation outside Bangalore, accommodation will be provided or an all inclusive daily allowance will be paid. In case of all inclusive daily allowance, perdiam will not be applicable.

11.On completion of probation period, the employees become confirmed employees and company provides fixed salary of Rs.8,400/- PM plus perdiam of Rs.3,000/- PM
to Rs.6,000/- PM depending upon their project deployments plus free accommodation plus Rs.2,500/- PM towards retirement benefits and insurance. Retirement benefits can be withdrawn as per existing government policies or as per the company’s current policies which will provide an advantage to the employee.

12. On completion of two years, up to Rs 16000 or 100% increment will be provided based on the past performance and willingness to contribute in the new role. Similarly up to Rs 24000 or 50% will be provided based on the past performance and willingness to
contribute in the new role after completion of 36 months after training and probation. Further increments and promotions are subject to the leadership qualities and ability to take up lead roles. Company has allowed exceptional performers to decide their compensation on completion of 4 years in the past and would like to continue the practice in future also. Confirmation in the new role is subject to the ability to perform over the next 12 months in the new role.

13. Perdiam and use of company facilities for food and accommodation is based on availability and will continue at all times.

14. Company currently has more than 200 employees and has already defined all processes for hierarchy and growth of employees. The company has shown phenomenal growth
in the last six years and is working on various domestic and overseas projects.

15. Travel from Hometown to Bangalore at the time of joining by Train max upto AC 3 Tier shall be reimbursed on production of Tickets etc.

16. Unless the market conditions and general economic situations warrant any changes in the above, BBSSL will continue to remain an associate friendly organization as demonstrated in the past 6 years.
